AMERICAN ODDITIES

“What we’re witnessing in our country isn’t inherently new.

We should know. We’ve lived it.

Overview

On News Years Eve 1979, 1% of the U.S. disappeared in the Southwest. For years, the event’s sole survivors have lived in fear of speaking out. Until now.

For the sake of anonymity, they identify as:

a cross-dressing Cowboy,

a sexually suppressed Siren,

and a real-life Bionic Woman.

When The Cowboy receives an anonymous tip about a killer named Ed, she’s sent on a westward journey and meets a cast of characters all linked to a nation-wide conspiracy. She’ll come to find that, similar to each narrator, Ed is not what he seems.

American Oddities is a metafiction thriller written in the form of found documents, photographs, and art. Connected by a common threat to their country, each narrator offers a distinct perspective on politics, cult-mentality, and America’s key to survival.

Whether or not you believe we’re telling the truth is dependent on your faith in our words. But know this: for all you know, you may have already met one of us. We can be seen walking through your neighborhoods, shopping in your stores, and maybe even sitting in the audience of your community-led assemblies.

We’re the Americans who survived Him.”
